The third Chocolasaurus (or Dinotales) series included 24 figures plus a "secret" figure (T-rex) for which there are three color versions. The figures were again designed and created under the direction of Matsumura Shinobu, who had already received much acclaim for his Choco Egg figures that had been released by Kaiyodo.   The Chocolasaurus figures were released in a prism-shaped box that contained the figures themselves in unassembled form together, an explanatory sticker, a series paper, and four or five small chocolate treats.
