These are insert chase cards which contain various artifacts.  Most of these are packaged in clear, hinged jewel cases and most of the fossils are loose (i.e., not glued down or encapsulated).  Below is a partial list of the kinds of artifacts randomly available in boxes of Ancient Menace trading cards.
 
Spinosaurus teeth, dinosaur bones, mammoth tusk cross-sections, various size trilobites, ammonites, Orthoceras, a variety of invertebrate fossils and fossil pieces, contemporary shark teeth, partial/nearly whole fossil shark teeth, and tektites (natural glass formed by meteorite strikes).
 
Finally, one of the most bizarre artifacts is the faux mammoth hair cards which are totally bogus as they do not contain real hair from any animal living or extinct but rather consist of bristles (broom?) presented as hair.  NOTE: Heart Mind Soul essentially created a novelty and openly admits that the fibers are not real hair.
