"The collector is an artist in his own way, by the way he puts things together. You can read a person's soul from their collection."
Ayers Tarantino, Art and Antiques, Dec 2008

This section of The Dinosaur Fan presents sets by topic (a.k.a., subject) into which they fit. I define the term topic to mean the general subject or title of the sets (e.g., Jurassic Park, Dinotopia, Walking with Dinosaurs). I created these topic groupings for summary and reporting purposes and have done my best to associate sets as logically as possible. However, many sets contain items with varying topics and therefore will appear under multiple topic listings.

For example, the 1993 Kitchen Sink Press ‘Dinosaur Nation – Seventy Years of Saurian Cinema Cards’ set includes cards featuring topics such as Godzilla, A Journey to the Center of the Earth, King Kong, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Gorgo, and Reptilicus. This set will be listed under all of those topics.

NOTE: if there is no topic for particular items (e.g., I failed to populate the information or I could not determine what topic to use), the set will be included under “To be Identified”.

Use caution; check the data before you use it. NOTE: the information presented throughout this website has NOT been reviewed by any person or organization. All information has been gathered and/or synthesized by me. I am doing my best to provide accurate data however, if you use material from this website for any reason, I would advise you do so with EXTREME CAUTION as there is a good chance that omissions, errors and/or outdated information may exist.
