This set features images of Ty's Beanie Babies stuffed toys superimposed on repeating blurred backgrounds.  This is a continuation set from the 1998 Ty Beanie Babies set and includes four subsets; the common cards (#'s 150-249) and three chase sets consisting of  Birthday/Rookie cards (#'s 250-273), Retired Beanies cards (#'s 274-288), and Rare Bear Holographic cards (#'s 289-300).  The chase cards (#250 through 350) were printed in four variations: blue name lettering (least rare), green name lettering (rarer than blue), silver name lettering (rarer than blue & green), and gold name lettering (the rarest). There are two card numbering errors in this set; card #195 has #196 on the reverse and card #217 has #125 on the reverse.  To my knowledge, these errors were never corrected.  
 
There was also one additional chase set; Ty Warner Autographed Cards (304 cards = 100 commons + 204 chase cards incl. all variations), ? per box).
 
NOTE: there were nearly identical non-U.S. market sets produced for Canada and for the United Kingdom which are listed separately on this website.
 
 The inclusion of this set is based on the presence of three dinosaur cards (i.e, Bronty, Steg & Rex). The checklist below and the expanded checklist only include variations and chase cards for the three dinosaur cards.
